ARTIFICIAL FUR – knitted high pile material made of synthetic and natural fibres.

STANDARD COMPOSITION:

  • 100 % polyester
  • 70 % acrylic, 30 % polyester
  • 100 % wool
  • 50 % wool, 50 % polyester
  • 80% wool, 20 % polyester
  • 70 % modacrylic, 30 % polyester (flame retardant)
    Possible to make other options upon request.

WEIGHT:

  • 250 – 1200 g/m²

    WIDTH:

  • 150 – 160 cm
    FINISHING:
  • plain / straight hair
  • tumbled/curly (sheep skin effect)
  • soft back coating for garments
  • hard back coating for shoes
  • very hard back coating for paint rollers

POSSIBLE APPLICATIONS FIELDS OF KNITTED HIGH PILE MATERIAL :

  • Footwear: shoes, house shoes, boots.
    Used for insulation and decoration.
  • Garments: work, safety, sports/leisure-wear.
    Can be used as interlining. Used for making collars, hats, mittens/gloves, jumpers/jackets.
    Flame retardant modacrylic pile is used to make outerwear for petrol station and oil platform workers.
  • Orthopedic items.
  • Paint-rollers, painting gloves.
  • Horse sports.
    Can be used to make blankets, for saddle padding.
  • Pets.
    Can be used for vet-beds, blankets, beds, clothes.
  • Interlining for quilting various fabrics.

FILL – interlining used as a higher quality alternative to ordinary padding/wadding. Easy to look after and more comfortable to wear. Gives more attractive look to a garment.
