Production of various materials, artificial fur, synthetic padding known as interlining and quilting of fabrics were the main areas of More Tekstilfabrikk AS, which was established in 1946 in Norway.

Over time, the company has expanded including more and more technical materials. Due to growing volumes and the expansion of production and part of customers transferring garment and footwear manufacturing to the Baltic States there was a need to establish a production unit in Lithuania. Therefore, UAB „Mittet“ was founded in 2001.

Having started with production of artificial fur for garments and footwear the company gradually expanded its assortment having included fake fur for paint – rollers, orthopedic products, pet and horse care, special purpose blankets and vet-beds, automotive industry and home cleaning, furniture industry.

In addition to widely offered by other companies Thread quilting, “Mittet” is the only company in the Baltic States able to make Ultrasound quilting for garments. Our company quilts fabrics in various widths, configurations, layers, colours and thickness. That’s why our customers are from different fields including manufacturers of clothing, footwear, furniture , mattresses and construction business.

Additionally our company can offer lamination of materials for special purposes.
